Assimilators are bizarre-looking Scrin infantry units that perform functions analogous to human Engineers.
Tiberium Essence[]
Assimilators are a valuable utility unit for the Scrin as they can repair both Alien and human installations such as bridges or captured human structures. They can also capture enemy and neutral buildings.
As of version 1.6, the Assimilators no longer become stealthed when standing still. Instead, they can use Phase Out ability to go partially into another dimension for increased speed and armor, but becoming unable to capture structures for a short period of time.
