Black Hand Elite is an upgrade available at the Secret Shrine.

After CABAL's betrayal, the Brotherhood of Nod was forced to find a suitable replacement for its cyborgs, who rose up against them, having being controlled by CABAL. As such, Nod mobilised its last line of defense, the elite cadre of Nod infantry. Equipped with advanced combat armor and heavy rifles, the elite cadre served as Nod's frontline shock troops during the Firestorm Crisis.
Tiberium Essence[]
Nod's frontline infantry units can be upgraded with Black Hand Elite troopers. Once ready, each Militant Rifle Squad, Militant Rocket Squad and Black Hand Squad receive a member of the elite cadre, armed with a laser rifle and hallucinogenic grenades. The laser rifles used by the Black Hand Elites are very effective against infantry.

- The upgrade has the same icon as C&C3 Kane's Wrath Black Hand factions Black Disciple upgrade.
- Originally, the Black Hand Elite threw hallucinogenic grenades automatically, but because it tended to cause collateral damage too easily, it was made a targeted ability instead.
